What Casebook can and cannot do

Do I need an OBD adapter?

No. You can enter observations and codes from a scan you already performed. This pilot cannot connect to a vehicle.

Does “no codes” mean a car is fixed?

No. Record the follow-up driving or test conditions and symptoms. Casebook shows what you entered and whether a check was documented.

Can I keep it on my Android home screen?

Yes. Open this page in Chrome, use the browser menu, and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. Your cases remain on this device; export a backup before clearing browser data.
